On April 22, 2024, “Embawood” employees held a tree-planting campaign in Masally district within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World,” supported by the Masally District Executive Authority. The event was attended by Elshad Abbasov, CEO of “Embawood,” Araz Ahmadov, Head of the Masally District Executive Authority, and the company’s staff. During the campaign, 200 cypress trees were planted along the banks of the Vilesh River and were properly watered.

Every year, “Embawood” contributes to environmental protection and the development of ecological culture in Azerbaijan by conducting various eco-friendly activities. The 2024 activities coincide with the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, as well as with the hosting of the prestigious international event COP29.

As you know, one of Azerbaijan’s five national priorities for socio-economic development by 2030 is to become a “Country of Clean Environment and Green Growth.” In line with this priority, numerous efforts are being made nationwide to restore and expand green spaces. As “Embawood” and its team, in addition to this tree-planting campaign, we continue to contribute to this cause through various social projects.

It should be noted that “Embawood,” the first local furniture brand, started its operations in 1996. The company currently operates six factories located in Masally, Khirdalan, and Sumgait, as well as in countries like Ukraine and Georgia.
